What we do

We work to address three questions:

• How does genetic variation lead to phenotypic variation?​

• How can we use genetics to make agriculture more efficient, productive, and healthy globally?​​

• How can we improve the crops without impacts on the environment?

We do most of our research with barley/wheat because they are the world's largest production crops and have beautiful diversity.
